Day 1: Arrival in Bagdogra – Transfer to Gangtok
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and begin the scenic drive to Gangtok through mountain roads and riverside landscapes. The journey offers beautiful views of the Teesta River and Himalayan foothills. Check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring MG Road for shopping and cafés.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir
Drive to Tsomgo Lake located at high altitude and surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Enjoy yak rides or scenic walks along the lake depending on the season. Continue to Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to an Indian soldier and an important pilgrimage site.
Day 3: Gangtok Sightseeing
Visit Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten and the Flower Exhibition Centre. These attractions showcase the rich culture and Buddhist heritage of Sikkim. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
Day 4: Gangtok to Darjeeling
Drive to Darjeeling through scenic tea gardens and mountain roads. Upon arrival check into your hotel and spend the evening exploring the famous Darjeeling Mall Road.
Day 5: Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early morning visit Tiger Hill to witness the spectacular sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Later visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and explore the beautiful tea estates.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast transfer to Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
