Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar
Arrive at Srinagar Airport where our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel or traditional houseboat. After check-in, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Dal Lake. In the evening take a peaceful Shikara ride across the lake while passing floating gardens, local markets and wooden houseboats.
Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast begin a full-day sightseeing tour of Srinagar’s famous Mughal Gardens including Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi. These gardens offer stunning views of Dal Lake and beautifully landscaped terraces built during the Mughal era. Later visit the Shankaracharya Temple located on a hilltop for panoramic views of Srinagar city.
Day 3: Gulmarg Excursion
Drive to Gulmarg, one of Kashmir’s most scenic hill stations surrounded by pine forests and snow-covered peaks. Enjoy the famous Gulmarg Gondola ride (optional) which takes visitors to higher mountain viewpoints. You may also enjoy activities like snow play, pony rides, or simply walk through the lush meadows.
Day 4: Sonmarg Day Trip
Today visit Sonmarg, also known as the ‘Meadow of Gold’. The journey passes through dramatic mountain landscapes, rivers and alpine forests. Upon arrival you can enjoy pony rides to Thajiwas Glacier or relax while enjoying the spectacular views.
Day 5: Leisure Day in Srinagar
This day is free to relax and explore Srinagar at your own pace. Visit the famous local markets for Kashmiri handicrafts, pashmina shawls and dry fruits. You may also choose to enjoy another Shikara ride or visit lakeside cafés.
Day 6: Departure
After breakfast check out from your hotel or houseboat. Transfer to Srinagar Airport with unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s valleys, lakes and mountains.
